at the risk of sounding like an asshole, i’d like to urge everyone to actually do something worthwhile instead of “praying for Japan.” it’s a nice gesture and it might bring you some solace, but to be blunt, it’s not going to do shit for the people dying over there. donating to relief efforts, spreading the word and taking it upon yourself to stay informed are far more productive (and just as easy, i might add) ways to help out.
Seconded, don’t pray. Give to the Red Cross or other charity of your choice
